Lyrics
Walking round the city in a daze all day,
It's a time for quiet reflection.
He's racially offensive, pro-Bush, anti-gay:
How on earth could he win the election?
On comedy shows, Boris is good,
But with facts he's at sea like Poseidon.
He hasn't got a clue,
He won't know what to do,
There's just no way he can be relied on.
"What will we do?" I frown.
"If he's Mayor of London town?"
If Boris is the Mayor –
Oh dear, oh dear –
I'll just want to be somewhere else.
If Boris is the Mayor,
Despair, everywhere,
So please vote for somebody else.
With his hair in his eyes,
You may think he looks nice,
But if you look twice,
You can see he tells lies.
There's a hundred million pounds unaccounted for
In his transport manifesto.
He thinks housing and climate change will sort themselves out
Without any targets – hey presto!
He's a Tory toff who is out of touch
With communities he thinks he'll cut crime in.
And more will lose their lives
To cars than guns or knives
As he changes the traffic lights' timings.
"What will we do?" I frown.
"if he's Mayor of London town?"
If Boris is the Mayor –
Oh dear, oh dear –
I'll just want to be somewhere else.
If Boris is the Mayor,
Despair, everywhere,
So please vote for somebody else.
With his hair in his eyes,
You may think he looks nice,
But if you look twice,
You can see he tells lies.
Yeah,
Yeah, that buffoon lies,
Yeah, that buffoon lies,
Yeah, that buffoon lies.
Please stop Boris,
Please stop Boris,
Please stop Boris the clown.

Someone going by the YouTube username of maxlib007 has written and recorded a couple of other anti-Boris reworkings of songs:
Boris Johnson Reputation (inspired: Kate Nash Foundation)
You can download this song – rated 12A (contains one occurrence of strong language) – as an MP3:
- Boris Johnson Reputation MP3 (4.17MB)
Or watch it in the below video, which was also created by maxlib007, and which is over on YouTube too:
Boris Johnson, London's Mayor (inspired: The Cure, Friday I'm In Love)
You can download this song as an MP3:
- Boris Johnson, London's Mayor MP3 (3.30MB)
Or watch it in the below video, which we added onto maxlib007's song for him, and which is over on YouTube too:
Boris Johnson, D***head (song by Kate Nash)
This video was removed by YouTube, presumably because it is, in fairness, bordering on the pornographic.
Don't watch this if you are (a) at work, (b) under 18, or (c) offended by the sight of animated artificial male genitalia wearing a blond wig, or regular strong language. Otherwise, go for it.
The song is just an appropriate and unaltered Kate Nash song, but the video was crafted by the aforementioned maxlib007. He posted it on YouTube and received over 1,000 views in about four days, before someone had it deleted.
Fortunately, someone has since sent a copy of it to us, so we are able to return it to the web. Here's a permanent link to this video, should you wish to share it.
You can also download it in a couple of file-sizes in Windows Media format, if they're of any use to you:
- Boris Johnson, D***head, high quality (14.9MB)
- Boris Johnson, D***head, lower quality (8.45MB)
