Campaign posters and other materials

New! Printable stickers and blog/web site buttons!

To help spread the message about why we need to stop Boris, we have prepared (so far) 16 campaign posters.

The posters are mainly based around the theme of a vision of how much worse London under Mayor Boris would be.

Many use familiar images of London, altered in some way to represent opinions and policies Boris has previously stated on the record.

Most also contain explanatory text based around the picture and Boris's views and actions.

You can view web versions of all the posters on this site, as well as downloading them as PDF files and to print out.

We would encourage everyone to print the posters and put them on noticeboards, in windows and anywhere else appropriate (and legal!), to get the message out there that we need to stop Boris!

Choose a poster from the menu on the left to view its page.

If you don't want to click through to the separate pages, you can simply download all 16 posters in one large, print-quality PDF (25.9MB).

Printing advice

Each poster is A4 in size. For best results, in the Print window in your PDF-viewing software, you should not choose ‘Scale to fit printer margins’, ‘Shrink to printable area’ or any other Page Scaling-type options, which unfortunately may be set by default in some software. Instead, you should choose ‘Do not scale’, ‘Page Scaling: None’ or other equivalent option.

If your printer is set to landscape and you are printing a portrait poster, or vice versa, you could tick ‘Auto-rotate and center’ or similar to resolve this with a single click.

Finally, please note that the posters have been designed to look best when printed in colour. If you are restricted to a black and white printer, however, most should look adequate, with the following few lending themselves particularly well to it, in descending order of suitability:

Stickers

[A Stop Boris sticker]

If you're going to any election-related events, or just want to decorate yourself, your friends, your lunchbox, or anything else to which you are legally entitled to stick things, please consider downloading our new Stop Boris stickers (1.17MB).

The design of the sticker is shown on the right. 21 copies of the sticker are provided on one A4 sheet in the PDF. They’re designed to be printed on standard A4 sheets of printer labels matching the Avery size called L7160, which most shops seem to do their own copies of too, e.g. Ryman’s ‘P21’ labels. The right type of label will measure 64×38mm and be laid out in three columns of seven.

N.B. See the poster printing advice above about turning off page-scaling when printing if you want to be sure they'll fit on the labels properly.

Blog and web site buttons

If you have a blog, journal, web site etc. and would like to show your support for the Stop Boris campaign and help spread the anti-Boris message, please choose one of the button images below to display on your web site, linking to StopBoris.org.

To use an image, simply copy all the code from the box on the right of the image you want to use, then paste it into an appropriate place in your web site's HTML code.
