I am re-posting this from further back as it remains unanswered.

______

And what “assorted smears and lies” would they be?

A precise analysis, please, of the “smears and lies” put about by Back Boris campaign, and “those peddled by the Standard”, whose lawyers and editors seem to have found them unassailable.

You may recall that Ken’s people saturated London mosques with leaflets claiming Boris wants to ban the Koran - all written in Bengali, with the English version cleansed, in the hope no one else would notice. If any of your “smears and lies” come within a mile of this breathtaking fraud, I will offer you a personal grovelling apology.

I would also welcome some constructive comments on the points raised by Andrew Grimson, which you have ignored.

Loons deserve representation too. After all, this IS London we are talking about. Three men and a dog, indeed.

Hello Mr Stop Boris. I'm a student from Hong Kong, and though I may have no part in the mayoral elections, I do sympathise with your cause. I have been reading about Boris, and he does appear to be an incompetent clown with a poor grasp of details. I am rather surprised to know that candidates such as H'Angus the Monkey has been elected on the basis of it being a, umm, monkey mascot, before in UK. I have read about some of the antics of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party, but I never quite thought such candidates could succeed. I'm disappointed that Boris will become London's next Mayor, as well as BNP having gained a seat. Good luck to London. Anyhow, thanks for putting up this impressive site! I really appreciate the effort you've put in.

Thank-you for all your dedication and hard work over the past nine months, Mr. Stop Boris. It's been a good run, regardless of the outcome.

A noble and valiant effort. Perhaps this blog will re-awaken in four years time.
