Either Boris is, as David Cameron claimed yesterday (having suddenly decided he supports Boris now he's in the lead in the opinion polls), "twice as charismatic" as Ken, and therefore one assumes well able to hold his own with his charm in personal interviews with women's magazines; or he can't be trusted not to put his foot in it with even the most lightweight of publications, and therefore needs a minder. I can't recall Mr. Livingstone ever having his outspoken views held back by a minder, which does at least mean those voting for him have a fair idea what they're letting themselves in for. More than can be said for the deluded 47% of people intending to put their mark next to Boris.

At least Boris has visionary manifestos that are flogged! At least Boris has a clue about keeping Londoners safe.
